HCP is standing in solidarity with Health Care For All in pursuing equitable healthcare for all individuals, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, and socioeconomic status. Our commitment is grounded in removing the many barriers people encounter when seeking healthcare services, promoting culturally competent care, improving health literacy, and making healthcare services affordable and accessible.
We are pleased to share that HCP has been named a Certified Application Counselor Designated Organization (CDO) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, indicating that we are a crucial member of the Assister community. As a CDO, HCP oversees a team of three Certified Application Counselors (CACs) trained and equipped to help individuals and families seeking health insurance coverage through MassHealth, Massachusetts, or the Federal Marketplace.
HCP provides free services to those seeking healthcare coverage options through the MassHealth (Medicaid) program and the Health Connector enrollment process. We are proud to be an active community-based organization that works hand-in-hand with the MassHealth redetermination program.
It is crucial to note that the Federal Medicaid continuous coverage requirements have been in effect since March 2020 and are scheduled to expire in April 2023. Please watch for our office hours announcement and a link to ask for an appointment. We were so excited to see Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll! She asked questions of our staff and talked about her door-knocking efforts for the redetermination program.
