HCP Continues the fight against COVID

Haitian Community Partners is steadfast in its commitment to combatting the challenges posed by COVID-19 and influenza.  Our ongoing efforts occurred on December 5, 2023, when HCP proudly co-sponsored Brockton’s Community Connection event. The overwhelming participation of numerous community-based organizations and healthcare providers fueled our enthusiasm.  Reflecting on the occasion, Dr. Maria Celli, Deputy CEO of Brockton Neighborhood Health, aptly captured its essence: “It was a convergence of service providers dedicated to fostering HEALING, HEALTH, HELP, AND HOPE.” This sentiment resonates with the collaborative spirit that defines our collective mission.  A pivotal aspect of HCP’s involvement lies in its partnership with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and Health Care For All in the VEI program. Described as an initiative designed to address the populations and communities most severely impacted by COVID-19, the VEI program aims to enhance awareness and acceptance of vaccines, improve access to vaccination locations, and elevate vaccine administration rates.  HCP’s collaboration within the VEI program exemplifies a concerted effort to empower Brockton, instill confidence in vaccination, and contribute to the broader goal of overcoming the challenges of ongoing health crises.  HCP continues to champion healing, health, help and hope for all.
